Our saffron comes from the region of Madridejos, south of Toledo. Due to weather conditions, terrain and a process of elaboration totally artisan our saffron is obtained. Zàffrãlia has extensive experience in this crop.
Control from planting to harvest, through cleaning and selection of bulbs, to peel and drying of the stigmas. The latter process is performed also on 24 hours for the Saffron reaches the consumer with the maximum freshness. Our Saffron has a surprising potential of color, flavor and aroma in the gastronomic use. In addition, Zàffrãlia makes its saffron under the seal of quality assurance and Protected Designation of Origin “Saffron from La Mancha”.
